Ryan writes "Just wanted to share an overview of the new LPS 9.2 release. This release is the first major LPS release since '06 and represents a significant upgrade. It rolls in the 9.1 Service Packs along with several new developments. The product is shipping now as well. Here's the link." GeoPlace and GISUser tells us about Leica's announcement of ther Photogrammetry Suite V9.0 and Virtual Explorer 3.0. Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging announces the availability of Leica TITAN 2008, a dynamic online data sharing solution. Leica TITAN 2008 includes:

• Leica TITAN Client
o Leica TITAN Viewer – enables global users to interactively visualize and share data.
o Geospatial Instant Messenger – primary communication protocol used to share, chat, discover, access and retrieve geospatial data & web services into a variety of client applications.
• Leica TITAN GeoHub
o Organizations create their own secure community with the Leica TITAN Network. The GeoHub enables both internal & external permission-based data access in a secure network.
• Leica TITAN Master Server
o Organizations create an autonomous, private and isolated network, where GeoHub communities and individuals interact outside of the Leica TITAN Network.
• Leica TITAN Web Cache Server (Coming soon!)
o Improves the performance of the GeoHub and can be set up in different geographic locations.
Leica TITAN Client new features include:

• New icons & functionality
• Create and persist lists of public web services
• Access public web services from others
• Set permissions on local data allowing public access to your data
